Why Yoga

Yoga = Wellbeing

In addition to the proven benefits to physical health and fitness, Yoga is a powerful tool of personal empowerment and transformation. Yoga means “union” of mind, body and spirit. Regardless of your physical abilities, Page's style of teaching accommodates everyone from a person in a wheelchair to a World-class athlete.

Yoga can help you manage every aspect of your life:

Physically, your metabolism, flexibility, endurance and strength will improve.

Mentally, stress and negative emotions will dissipate.

And spiritually, imagination is the only limitation.

Page has studied the art and science of Yoga for 7 years, first as a Hatha and Vinyasa flow practitioner, and later discovered the powerful advantages of Kundalini (Descriptions below).

Live Yoga Classes broadcasted from Hollywood…and Costa Rica.

Pages classes blend elements of a few of her favorite styles:

Hatha

What most people refer to as Yoga is actually Hatha Yoga, a centuries old practice of strength and purification. Body, mind and spirit are balanced in the physical postures, poses, breathing and meditation.

While Hatha is known as a stress reducing practice, it can incorporate demanding physical exercise.  More than 20 million people in the United States alone have discovered the power of Hatha to improve health and remove disease.

Muscular flexibility, will power, self confidence, concentration and higher energy levels are just a few more of the innumerable benefits of a consistent practice.

Kundalini

Kundalini Yoga is an even more powerful science of the bodymind.
Each set is designed to produce a specific outcome. You can literally request sets for everything from prosperity to stress relief, liver cleansing to awakening your radiant body.
Though many of the movements may seem a lot like stretching and aerobic exercises, they are actually precisely designed to activate the glandular system, nervous system, endocrine system, spinal fluid and brain to strengthen their connection, as well as your ability to consciously affect your health.
The best things about Kundalini is anyone can do it.

This practice will involve Chakra work, mental focus, breath work and optionally challenging physical movements and postures.

Pilates

The foundation of Pilates is developing mental control over the muscles. Spinal alignment, deep muscle strengthening and toning will be the result of breath work, centering and concentrated control. Page incorporates principles of Pilates in almost every workout to strengthen and refresh your entire system.

Qi Balancing

Pronounced chi, Qi is the life energy that flows through everything.

Page will teach you how to balance your own energy, remove energetic blocks, cut emotional cords and remove toxins. Many people pay thousands of dollars to learn about Qi in expensive workshops and seminars. Page believes that this powerful positive energy needs to be available for everyone! You can ask for Qi Balancing in combination with any of her services, and learn these powerful techniques for yourself.

You can learn to move the energy that is already within you, and become aware of the subtle energies around you.

Breath work

"Prana" means life force or energy. "Yama" means control. Pranayama or breath work is based on the belief that control over the breath leads to control over the mind. Breathing is one of the only bodily functions that is both voluntary and involuntary. So when we take conscious control over this subconscious action, we unlock potential and shatter prior restrictions.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is the best practice for anyone with physical limitations of any kind, or when you just need to gently deepen your connection with yourself.

The focus of this practice is to deeply relax into restful poses that facilitate healing and rejuvenation.

Guided Meditation

Guided meditation is offered as a stand-alone session, or can be included at the end of any session. The vast benefits of meditation are undeniable. Yet many times in this chaotic world, it’s difficult to create a sacred space.

When a calming voice can lead your mind away from the distraction, clarity and comfort illuminate your path.
